Bridges Homeward is one of Cambridge's most vital organizations for families and youth involved with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families. From Foster Care families to children with developmental disabilities and more, Bridges Homeward supports a wide range of Cambridge residents year round.
During the holiday months, Bridges Homeward does all they can to bring the joy of the holidays to these families that have significant financial limitations. MIT has been partnering with Bridges Homeward for years to provide $25 Target or Amazon gift cards to the clients of Bridges Homeward so that they can purchase gifts that are right for their family. Supporting this drive is easy, making it a great option for remote offices! You can make a monetary donation through Atlas by giving to "Bridges Homeward Holiday Drive," or you can donate physical gift cards as an alternative.
Gift cards can be collected in your office for us to pick up near the end of the drive, or dropped off at the Community Services Office in E19-711. Gift card donations must be received and monetary donations set up by December 12, 2025 so that the Bridges Homeward staff may distribute donations to their families in time for the holidays.
